DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE

Deep tissue massage is a type of massage that involves applying firm pressure and slow strokes to target the

deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue. It is mainly used to treat musculoskeletal issues, which can include

strains, soreness, and sporting injuries.

This technique is particularly beneficial for people with chronic pain, limited mobility, or recovering from  an injury.

Deep tissue massage can help to improve blood circulation, reduce inflammation, and promote relaxation. It is a more

focused type of massage, as the therapist works to release chronic muscle tension or knots.

A quality deep-tissue massage helps to:

  • loosen muscle tissues,

  • release toxins from muscles, and

  • get blood and oxygen circulating properly.

It is a common myth that a deep tissue massage should hurt #nopainnogain. A deep tissue massage is likely to be a

bit more "comfortably uncomfortable" than a lighter style relaxation style massage, especially if you have some large

chronic knots. We will always check in and communicate with you throughout your treatment. Essentially, even when

uncomfortable it should always feel relieving.

If you're looking for a massage that can help alleviate tension and pain, consider trying deep tissue massage.
